Risk Disclosure
Last updated: August 11, 2026You must read and accept this disclosure before purchasing a TradeScreener subscription.
01About this disclosure
This Risk Disclosure applies to your purchase and use of TradeScreener, including chart scans, generated trade breakdowns, educational content, and any related features. It stands separate from — and in addition to — the TradeScreener Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Compliance page.
You must read and accept this disclosure before purchasing a TradeScreener subscription.
02Not your broker, adviser, or fiduciary
TradeScreener is a software tool. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, financial adviser, portfolio manager, fund, custodian, exchange, signal service, or fiduciary. We don't owe you any duty of care, loyalty, best execution, or suitability.
Nothing in the product — entries, stop losses, targets, risk/reward figures, options-style context, or plain-language explanations — is personalized investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. All outputs are educational and informational only.
03Every decision is yours
TradeScreener doesn't place trades, connect to your brokerage, hold funds, or act on your behalf. You choose whether to trade, what to trade, when to enter or exit, how much to risk, and which broker or platform to use.
TradeScreener analyzes the chart screenshot you provide — it doesn't select trades for you, and a setup being displayed is not a recommendation to take it.
04The analysis can be wrong
TradeScreener uses automated systems, trained models, and technical analysis methods. These can misread a chart, misidentify a ticker or timeframe, miss key levels, ignore news and events, work from stale or incomplete information, or produce analysis that doesn't match live market conditions.
Screenshots capture a moment in time. By the time you act, price, spread, liquidity, and context may have changed — always verify analysis against live data and your own research before making any decision.
05You can lose money, including everything you risk
Trading stocks, options, ETFs, futures, crypto, and other financial products involves substantial risk. You can lose some or all of the money you put at risk. Options in particular can expire worthless — a total loss of the premium paid — and selling options can carry additional, sometimes uncapped, risk.
Don't trade money you can't afford to lose in full.
TradeScreener does not guarantee profits, win rates, accuracy, or market success — for any user, on any setup, ever.
06Past performance does not predict future results
Any historical statistics, backtested results, win rates, examples, demonstrations, or testimonials shown by TradeScreener describe the past, not the future. Backtested and historical performance has inherent limitations — real-world results differ because of slippage, spreads, commissions, liquidity, execution timing, and your own decisions.
Individual results vary widely. Other users' outcomes — good or bad — say nothing about what yours will be.
07How our performance figures are produced
Win rates and similar performance figures shown by TradeScreener come from internal backtesting. Our team regularly replays historical charts bar by bar using market-replay tooling and runs scans against a wide variety of scenarios, timeframes, and market conditions across multiple asset classes. Figures are updated periodically as new backtests complete, so displayed numbers may change over time.
Backtested results remain hypothetical. They don't reflect live trading and are subject to the same limitations described above — slippage, spreads, commissions, liquidity, execution timing, and the decisions of the individual trader. A backtested win rate is not a promise of accuracy or profitability for any user.
08Simulated & demonstration content
Certain examples, scan results, trade breakdowns, statistics, win rates, performance figures, testimonials, screenshots, and other illustrative content shown by TradeScreener — including in marketing, onboarding, and previews — may be simulated, hypothetical, representative, or built for demonstration, UI, testing, or marketing purposes.
This content shouldn't be read as actual customer results, verified profitability, or live trading outcomes. Actual trading results vary significantly and may include losses.
09You are responsible for every trade
Every trade you place is your trade, made in your name, through your own broker, with your own money. You're solely responsible for the outcomes, the taxes, and compliance with the laws, regulations, and broker terms in your jurisdiction.
Except where the law requires otherwise, TradeScreener has no liability for any trade, loss, missed opportunity, incorrect analysis, or other consequence of decisions you make while using the service.
10Acceptance
By completing a purchase at checkout, where this disclosure is linked next to the purchase button, you confirm that you've read, understood, and accepted this Risk Disclosure, that you understand TradeScreener is an educational analysis tool and not a financial adviser, and that you accept full responsibility for your own trading decisions.
You voluntarily assume all risk associated with trading and release TradeScreener from liability to the fullest extent the law allows. Trade at your own risk.
